I believe that creativity is the outward expression of our connection to source energy—divine love.
My creative muse is wabi-sabi—a practice where inessentials are eliminated and trimmed away. The intersection where wabi (minimal) and sabi (functional) meet is the hallmark of my creativity—simple, yet full.
By combining concise word pictures with vivid photography, my hope is to lead each reader to their indwelling spring of unlimited potential and possibility—a spring that’s just waiting to be tapped..

Hi Laurie
Sorry, I’ve not been blogging for ages, have been enjoying the unseasonal Scottish heat while looking for a new job. My tan is so good people ask me the way to the mosque!
It’s best to email me at my hotmail.co.uk although I can feel a blog coming about that mad preacher’s book burning club.
Tell Len I’m making Elderberry wine just now, and next week starting carrot wine – in time for Christmas (and Hogmanay). Keep up the beer making Len, my parents were really shy, if not for beer , I might not be here!
K xx
Kevin, we’ve heard of elderberry wine, but never (ever!) of carrot wine. We laughed at what you said about your parents being shy and beer
Carrot wine is surprisingly white, not orange. It’s bubbling away like mad so I must have done something right. Just google it Laurie and lots of recipes come up. You just drain the water off the boiled carrots so can use them for soup etc too.
Kevin – I’ve passed this information on to Himself (head Brew Master, Len) — he says, THANK YOU!!
WOW
Almost to 15000!!
I love the new look to the website…..soft and calming….
Kim – I’m glad you like it (I removed the chakra banner, and like you said, it has a softer look now).
I nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award – http://spilledcookies.com/2012/05/11/one-lovely-blog-award/ I so enjoy your blog I wanted to share it with others!
Spilledcookies – Awwwww, you’re so sweet, thank you!
